TiVo Selects TeraLogic's TL750 Graphics Processor IC for Next-Generation Personal Video Receiver Set-Top Boxes

TL750's Advanced Graphics and Video Processing Delivers New Capabilities To Personal Television Industry

LAS VEGAS, Jan. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- At CES today, TeraLogic, Inc., a leading
developer of broadband digital television and data services products and
technologies, announced that its TL750 IC will provide the advanced graphics
processing capabilities for next-generation digital personal television boxes
from TiVo (Nasdaq: TIVO). TiVo, the creator of personal television, will
integrate the TL750 into its stand-alone TiVo boxes and combination
TiVo/DIRECTV receivers. The TiVo receivers utilizing the TL750 could
potentially offer a number of new and improved capabilities, including
interactive data services, picture-in-picture, superior picture quality and
faster navigation. With TiVo's next-generation personal video receivers
(PVRs), consumers will be able to access multiple services including
interactive entertainment, commerce and video on demand, while enjoying the
functionality of personal television.

TiVo will introduce its new products at the CES show that is being held
January 6-9, 2000 in Las Vegas, NV. Consumers will be able to experience
TiVo's advanced receivers by mid-2000.
