Pete: Your comment is right on, DSL and cable are toast. Trouble is you are in the only dinner in town and the owners dont have any incentive to supply you with bagels. Someone else may spend the money to build an upscale brunch place, but it is not going to happen overnight and when it does, it will be expensive. I would not put it past the diner owners to grease the palms of the local politicians so they pass ordinances against brunch outfits. You might have to choke down dry toast for sometime yet. :-) Jeff Vayda
