BEZOS is attempting to create a huge retail business over the course of several years. It is
silly and unrealistic to expect it to be profitable in a year or two. Can you name another
company that has done so?

Excuse the correction but it has already been five years.

A HUGE LAND-GRAB. He who gets the loyal customer base will win the game -- and AMZN has
taken this prize by a huge margin. It's not over yet...

There is no such thing as a loyal customer base in retail. Ask Kmart, Sears, Penneys and the W.T. Grant company. You better skip the latter they have been gone a long time now.
