Samsung rumor could be a result of a cultural projection that misinterprets the move of the exec who went over to
Rambus. In some Asian cultures, a departing executive sometimes is seen as a "sentry" that precedes a takeover.
In this case, this is a non-Korean in an American context, but I can see how this projection could be made... FWIW
