REDWOOD CITY, Calif., Jan. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- Liquid Audio, Inc. (Nasdaq: LQID - news) today announced at the Consumer Electronics Showcase (CES) in Las Vegas, that it is working with 12 consumer electronics companies to deliver portable music products that playback Liquid(TM) Music. Companies shipping or developing products fueled by Liquid Audio include: Digitalw@y, e.Digital, HaiTai Electronics, Hewlett-Packard Company, Iomega, Jungmyung Telecom, RHAS_TEL, S3/Diamond Multimedia, Saewon Telecom, Sanyo, Texas Instruments and Toshiba. Liquid Audio is showing live demonstrations of new devices from Hewlett-Packard, Sanyo and Toshiba in its booth (#6740) at the show.

In addition, Liquid Audio announced a new and innovative partner program, the Liquid(TM) Music Connection, which provides consumer electronics companies with a la carte digital music solutions including: 50,000 music downloads, Web services, technical integration, customized software and Secure Digital Music Initiative (SDMI) compliance, to deliver compelling new digital music products. These announcements further demonstrate Liquid Audio's position as a pioneer and leading platform for the secure distribution of music online.
