How do you know about all this stuff? You are too young for this. PBS, TLC, DSC. I'd watch HIS except Cox doesn't carry it in my section of town. In this specific case I vaguely remembered the PBS(?) documentary about the Forrestal (didn't remember the ship's name, though) and did some web searching. I've always liked to watch shows about history and in the past year I've started to read more about it, too. I need to bone up on this stuff if I don't want to be a clueless moron like the ones that Jay Leno interviews on the streets who don't even know who we fought in the Revolutionary War.
