Although, I'm not so sure that the average investor has any clue about the mechanics behind the markets. Should the American public have refrained from investing over the last several years, in protest over the bull market, and their ever increasing retirement savings? Would that have made them better than whores?
To me, the way to play a market situation, that is completely out of our hands, can be answered, in part, by the old saying "The trend is your friend".
