tell ya what i notice, on down days, which are days of "option opportunity", be it for a call buy or put sell, the thread is a bit quiet... hi ed ... amazing isn't it? when there is a blue light special, people run away. why? the answer is that during a bull run people are almost fully invested in the market and not be prepared for the unexpected. when the market heads south, they find that they don't have buying power, or even getting margin call. a good article in recent ibd about put/call ratio, which should be used as one indicator for the market's direction. well ed, i will jumping in market again next week since my main account is currently frozen (good thing). i do expect the downdraft continues tomorrow with a slight sunshine starting monday. best regards paul
