Regardless, IMO it makes sense to ignore what rates are doing and simply hold great companies.

Now THAT should be framed and put on a wall somewhere!

i agree.

All the fiddling we do here is to determine good profit taking and reentry points for the cycles these go through. I plan to hold my favorites in this sector (AMAT and LRCX) forever and just sell some when they get to be too large a percentage of my portfolio.
