PMTC-----> Parametric Technology Corp. Receives $4.2 Million Order For Pro/ENGINEER
Software and Services from NASA
WALTHAM, Mass., Jan 6, 2000 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Parametric Technology
Corporation (NASDAQ:PMTC) today announced that it received a $4.2
million order for Pro/ENGINEER software and services from the National
Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) for use in its various
centers. The software shipped during PTC's first fiscal quarter (ended
January 1, 2000).
NASA is already using PTC's Pro/ENGINEER software to integrate and
automate the product development process throughout its installations
nationwide, including Kennedy Space Center, Langley Research Center,
Johnson Space Center, Ames Research Center, Dryden Flight Research
Center, Jet Propulsion Laboratory, Glenn Research Center, Stennis Space
Center, Goddard Space Flight Center and Marshall Space Flight Center.
With this new order, NASA is expanding its use of PTC i-Series software
products, including Pro/ENGINEER with its new Behavioral Modeling
technology, Pro/MANUFACTURING, Pro/MECHANICA, Pro/DESKTOP a |
