Chipsets are devices that connect a microprocessor to a memory chip. The increase, he said, is mainly from sales of PC-133, high-speed memory that sells at a lower cost than Rambus. And the company is sampling chipsets for double data rate DRAM."

Looks like VIA chipsets are ruuning at a 40M/yr run rate.

WOW!!!!

Looks like Intel is losing chipset marketshare dramatically!!!

Perhaps Intel should buy some internut folks and leave the chip business to folks who really want to serve it.
