Tom,
U got the last part right, we are both after the truth. God, I love truth, which is not subjective, it is our poor perception which is subjective. I love the exercise of stripping away perception to reveal more fully truth. I love the necessary absolute willingness required to step beyond my limited perspective to a larger truth. Often I fail but I ALWAYS return to the practice.
When people make statements that are over-reaching or improperly applied or contradicted by a growing body of evidence these statements muddy the view of reality and I feel compelled (joyously) to respond.
I can't help it, and my efforts are usually imperfect. I do not suffer false Authority, and ALL statements must pass through the crucible of reality. There are no free passes.
Tom, I have nothing against u, you seem more knowledgeable than many, much I could learn from u. We are similar in our passion for technology, my 'puter room looks similar to yours (multi-mon and all). Sometimes I disagree with a statement u make or at least how u present it, can't help that and I don't think u want to avoid that rewarding challenge.
en garde` :)
