Isn't it nice that everyone seems to be having that 'warm and fuzzy' feeling now that the nightmare is over? I'll even admit now that I've had time to go over the conference call (taped), I do feel somewhat better about the future. However, that does not interpret to SGI sitting on their laurels and expect beating estimates w/o an effort. As I've whined previously, SGI will need to emphasize their market share (excellent job with their main line-O Series) and actually think about a synergistic relationship with Cray Research (instead of just using it to inflate sales revenue growth). Their outreach in the server market is an impressive expedition, but will selling & g&a expenses also increase to offset the profit margins? Finally, Ed will have to focus in on the profit margins concerning their new product line as well as the service revenues (which has decreased in margins - probably due to Cray) and of course, general expenses within control. In the meantime, I do think that the worse is over, as Jeff prvsly mentioned about the institutions having their dump already. However, I'm not so sure if it has bottomed out (I think 10-12 is still possible) as everyone now is flocking to any company which has a profit (look at today's 173 pt jump in Dow) and a safety net (conservo stocks).

Just one man's dragged out opinion.....
