What do you make of this story:

ANADIGICS INTROS LOW-COST GAAS MMICS -- Anadigics introduced today a low-cost driver
amplifier gallium arsenide (GaAs) monolithic microwave IC (MMIC) designed for use with PCS 1900MHz CDMA
applications. The MMIC serves as a core active building block for 1,850-1,910MHz CDMA cellular phone
transmitter functions. The price of this device is $5 in 100,000 unit-quantities, which the company claims is very
cost-competitive compared with related components. Dubbed the AWD1900, the MMIC will be used to
accommodate the linearity requirements of the CDMA standard. The device integrates a three-stage class A GaAs
Mefet cascaded amplifier, an output SPDT switch and an integrated one bit 15dB attenuator. The device features
switchable dual outputs and a typical ACPR of 40dBc at an output power of 10.5dBm. Anadigics: 908 668-5000.

Looks like CLTK may have some competition. Let me know what you think?
