Over the past few years, one of my favorite aspects of holding SUNW, aside from the prospect of getting such a great return, has been the low risk. SUNW made me sleep better than any other equity, or group of equities. I don't think I would have done as well attempting to exploit further inefficiencies through timing and the like. I think it's best to transact as infrequently as possible. Because of the human element, your portfolio is always an accident waiting to happen. The percent of portfolio managers who beat the S&P would seem to bear that out.

Every time you buy, every time you sell, every time you throw a little switch or tweak a little knob one way or another on your portfolio, you increase risk. One is predisposed to fall to the ground. Your model doesn't give any weight to gravity.
