Elizabeth, I already did with Schwab. Think of it this way. If I'm going away on vacation, I'd certainly want to get my price for my stock even though I'm away from my computer. So of course I can put a sell limit order in that far in advance. And it's even more important to do so if we're talking about a stock that's showing mo-mo. These days 50 points or more up in a single day is not at all unheard of.
