I NEVER WANTED TO OWN LUCENT - BUT MY LUCK HAD IT THAT LUCENT BOUGHT EXCEL SWITCHING A GOOD COMPANY WITH SOLID GROWTH PROSPECTS IN FALL 1999. I COULDN'T SELL IT DUE TO TAX REASONS, NOW I AM GETTING SOCKED. HOPEFULLY LUCENT WIL RECOVER IN A COUPLE OF QUARTERS. WE HAVE TWO MILESTONES TO PASS - TOMORROW THE EMPLOYMENT REPORT AT 8:30 AND ON MONDAY AFTER CLOSE YHOO ANNOUNCES EARNINGS. FROM NEXT TUESDAY, THE TECHS CAN RALLY! SURPRISINGLY TODAY MY ENTIRE PORTFOLIO DID WELL SINCE MY IO,INVX, NS - ALL WENT UP. EVEN SOME TECHS. LIKE ISSI, XICO WENT UP! YHOO WILL RECOVER FOR SURE!
