years ago a friend recommended that whenever you get an earworm like that, the solution is to play "Aqualung" at top volume.

You might also try In-a-gada-da-vida (sp - it's been too long).

I do try to like anything new, although I'm not always successful - rap would come first to mind, however, it makes me think of a story from a few years back. While attending the Pitts. Arts festival, we had the opportunity to attend what was billed as a "New Age" musical production. We sat thru the better part of 1 1/2 hours of watching about 15 people parade around the stage chanting to various fruits & vegetables and Black & Decker tools they happened to be carrying at the time. Afterwards, about half the audience gave them a standing ovation - we were not among them.

Sometimes it's just much easier to dislike. ;)
