Hi, Jack,

1. I use a full service broker in Canada. I pay US$3,000 commission for buying $0.5 mil face valve Horsham CV and shorting 16,129 shares ABX. Am I paying too much commission?

2. When I initial a position, I need to pick a stock that will go down in price and

a. before the cv could be called, i need the income(bond interest minus any divident)at least pay for my investment
b. even the company's stock price may drop, but the company have to be financial strong to keep paying interest, so that the CV will not drop as much as the stock.

3. The 3% yield on Horsham is not high enough to keep the cv from droping. But it was a very good income play. I put on more position at $90 debit a few days ago. How much you pay?

4. Do your broker charge you any borrowing fee for shorting ABX?

5. Is Magna a good pay? It would be called in about a year!

Take care.
