[Why I'm holding]

<<<"All current shareholders in Amati, especially those who have losses of 50% or more in the stock, should refrain from selling because ....">>>

I could ask them to finish your sentence, but since that may take some time, will you accept a stand-in while you wait for the real thing?

. . . short-term, I believe there will be some exciting product announcements at InterOp and I've heard Amati's products will be demonstrated in 3 or 4 other venues besides its own. I also believe I'll miss some substantial announcements if I sell between now and the summer solstice.

I'm holding long-term because I believe everything the FCC document outlined regarding the need for bandwidth and I believe ADSL and VDSL are the telcos best solutions based on the criteria listed. I also believe Amati's partnerships, positions in trials, product test results, and management team, position them to capture a large portion of the DMT market both in North America and around the world.

If I didn't believe this, I'd sell my stock and move on.

Regards,

Pat
