Lucent miss specific to Lucent..it seems. >> Lucent cited shifts in customer demand for its new optical fiber product line, and greater-than-expected demand for those systems, which led to deployment problems. Lucent also said customers are changing their software purchasing policies, to spread them out through the year instead of making the bulk of their purchases in the quarter ending Dec. 31. << As such there should be a limited spill over effect. We should come close to testing the 50 dma on the techs soon, so we'll see what kind of support is out there.
