Thank-you marginmike, Voltaire and others with investment experience to give us newcomers to the world of Wall Street some perspective. I've read lots of books on investing but the information I receive from this thread and the G&K thread has been much more valuable. I would never have had the B#%ls to hold QCOM, JDSU, etc. if it hadn't been for all of you. I keep asking myself at times like these if the reasons I bought the stocks have changed, if not then don't sell. Simple, but so hard to ignore the fear. It's funny - when QCOM is flying it feels like it's always going to be that way, and the same when it's dropping. I never dreamed the stockmarket would have so much to do with psychology! Thanks again for taking the time to educate others - I hope someday I can do the same.
