Henry, The interesting part about this is that Alfa Wasserman is actually paying money up front to enter into a distribution agreement with Ligand. One would presume they're fairly confident that they'll make it back pretty soon. Do you recall if Ligand decided on a sales force of their own anywhere in Europe? This is just the Italian market. I suppose you could view it as a repeat of the Allied Invasion of Europe. Italy first and then through the only useable passes into the heartland of Europe :-) Nice as it is, this is still a small piece of news and if that's all the dry powder they have, they'll be laughed out of H&Q so let's hope....
