HI Joana and welcome:

Speaking of retirement - so many Baby Boomers won't be getting a pension or much socialsecurity $ after retirement because the change in the job security structure of their employment world

I believe this is just the reason to be more worried than complacent. Baby boomers are acting out of fear and taking higher risks, buying companies with no track record and parabolic price curves, that can and do regularly have 50% or more corrections.

It is both fear and greed that is driving this tech market to dizzying heights. People are not basing buying decision on sound fundamental business, just read my post about the advertisers who say cash in advance to dot coms.

As far as the dot coms trading their own stock, this is speculation at the highest level. Companies are suppose to take care of customers.

Many dot.coms are sleazy bucket shops that will never earn money and are only in this to make a fast buck on investors who care little about what the company does and care only about the price chart and getting on board the momentum train.
