They are fiber optic cable stocks that will support broadband with its ability for voice, data, and video transmissions. Fast, efficient, and cheap, they will foster the a quantum leap in telecommunications on a domestic and global basis. Fiber optic lines are currently being installed between cities in the US, Europe, and Asia. They are also being layed beneath the worlds oceans and in a very short period of time will provide communication between continents as easy as it is to make a transcontinental calls today. With there enormous capacity they will obivate the need for the more limited transmissions offered by satellites and at a much cheaper price. Ken
