Bell Labs is not a place for practical engineers. It's a fun place for Nobel laureates. So I don't think it will directly contribute to near-term earnings. Also LU still draws a lot of earnings from voice-related products, and that sector is pretty much flat. Off topic: With Nasdaq taking hits after hits, I wonder how much longer it will be before margin calls cause another round of sell-off.
