Hello August,

Is this an '87 senerio or are we looking more at the '71-'74 bear market?

Just a guess on my part, but I'll opt for the '87 scenario stretched out over a few weeks early in this quarter.

Why? I suspect that money will continue to pour into retirement plans, pension plans, 401k's, 403b's etc... for the foreseeable future, mostly from the baby boomers but also from Gen-Xers now. These inflow dollars likely will be partially offset by the loss of foreign monies (in particular Asian investors) who are likely to find more favorable investments in their own economies than they would find here.

But, this is just my guess. Others may feel differently.
