Ericsson was reported on Public Radio as having presented a portable telephone that plays downloaded music (such as MP3). Now, when you don't have anything to do and you want to listen to some music you will be able to.

He didn't say, but you may not need to buy a separate MP3 player.

The report did not state whether or not the new phone would use the MP3 format or provide the multi-format capabiity that is gaining much attention, at the Consumer Electronics Show, for e.Digital Corporation (EDIG).
