I believe we are saying the same thing...the current uptrend is a result of improving underlying fundamentals and not due to rumor or unexpected news. Granted positive earnings, bookings, and design wins are anticipated along with resolution of the fab.

Certainly it is possible that a pop could occur due to annoucement of new coverage, a new product, or fab resoultion....I don't consider any of these type of annoucements to be totally unexpected.

It wouldn't suprise me that by the time we get to the earnings annoucement that the result is already built into the price and we get a churning type of price action that day. If the fundamentals continue to improve we should see a continuing uptrend.

Trying to predict the daily or even weekly price action is difficult indeed!
