Exactly Right!

A.G. opened the money gates last quarter to lessen any roughness or glitches that would be caused by the dreaded Y2K catastrophe at the banks. Since the bug didn't bite, A.G. is now sucking it all back in. Liquidity is now on a diet. The banks were *supposed* to keep it on hand, as a "just in case" there might be a run on them. The stock market performance seems to indicate that the banks had other ideas in mind.

I don't really know yet if this was smart policy or not. Seems like not.

Best Regards,
KT
