I use stockwatch. I go to trade workstation and sort all the trades by volume. Then I just scan down the list till I get to my cutoff point. Then I count the number appearing per screen and use the page down to get my total. EG. today cutoff is 10,000 share blocks. There are 28 trades per screen on my monitor. There were 66 trades of 10,000 or more shares. Out of the 9046 trade total that gets us to 66/9046 = .73 per cent - that is why you saw the stock fade after 1 pm - there just wasnt enough big bids to take out the shares on the offer and keep the price up.
