Your experience is exactly the reason that I stayed on Web Street's back about the cancellation. Web Street should complain to the SEC about the way US Clearing conducts themselves on cancellation requests from customers. I have the feeling that as long as it's not Web Street's money on the line they don't care. The real problem is that none of us have a practical recourse for dealing with US Clearing.
