Last year, I said, 3com needed to say "to be connected to billions not to 200 millions". Eric finally said it. Thank you Eric. In addition, I said, 3com manufactures/invents the things that make communication work. Now, they are saying it. Thank you Eric..... . With LU having problems and Palm.com out of the picture, 3com's DSL and Cable departments will be looked at by LU more closely. If LU want to compete with the others Notel, the Gaint CSCO etc.... . and if the want to meet their very high goals then, LU needs a cash cow like 3com to help their earnings picture. 3com has taken the paradigm shift from low cost products to higher margin products.
