Curtis: True assessment. The best growth projection for this year is 19% ; not 20 or 25%. (5% better than the Networking Sector growth of 14% in LU's own words.) Optical technology is available in Canada, Japan, and France and is not a LU monopoly. Further, the main sector of growth in Optics is Passive Optical Nets which does not involve costly switches and new routers etc. Based on the growth projection and an earnings forecast of $1.50 for the year the current valuation cannot be sustained.
