Boy you got that right.

The processor-independent standard is JAVA.

Since it's launch in 1995, JAVA has pretty much taken over the world and now all software is written in JAVA - and everybody uses cheap thin client network computers.

x86 processors haven't been produced since the last few days of 1995.
