..neither (additional) cash nor interest is left to throw in,... Much of the selling now is individuals and funds cashing out their 1999 gains. All that money will go to the sidelines and burn a hole in the pockets of people that are accustomed to being fully invested now. Expect some furious dip buying after a 20-30% correction in the Naz. The herd will shift and bolt the other way as fast as it turned this time. As for cyclicals and REITs....if the herd doesn't buy them they won't get far. We saw that last spring. I still regret not shorting CAT in the 60's.
