As a mode of desire, greed is natural. Yes, greed can transcend morality. But what is so good about morality? Morality can be evil too in the sense that it places limits on people's desires and projects. To be sure, some of these desires and projects need to be checked because if implemented they are not good for most human beings and society.

I think you dogmatically assume that Greed is evil. What is your moral code? Can you elaborate?

My moral code is very simple. If an act is good for all human beings, if every human being should do it, then it's moral. If not, then it's not moral. This does not make it immoral, however. It depends on the consequences.

I think Greed is a healthy human emotion since it's natural. Why shouldn't all humans be greedy? Every person should possess the desire to make lots of money. Some are better at it than others. Those that are not very successful at it, often develop resentment. Am I hearing sour grapes?
