Claude:

Of course, all of this is known, but not enough people
care. There are a fair number of companies with good
projects, and very low market valuations. We are clearly
at the bottom of the cycle in these relatively speculative
issues. The question that is more important, is: is
gold essentially dead forever? I have heard this said
many times by the community that has made a lot of money
investing in high techs. It is clear that many other
commodities have had a nice move in 1999, and even gold
has had a decent move. But are we ever going to see
sustained moves into the $300's and higher?

Regards

Dan
