Smith Barney has a report out on First Call saying Ckfr is overvalued by 40 points.

What isn't?

Gist of it is that they have figured out that Yahoo's E- Bill initiative has been slower than they had expected and are projecting Checkfree's losses months ahead.

Conclusion: Mr Zandi raises his price target on Checkfree from $20 to $40.

Mr Zandi initiated coverage on Checkfree at $28. He recommended purchase at $24. He was frozen into inaction at $12. I toured the Checkfree Genesis facility in Atlanta with him and asked why he wouldn't recommend the stock at $12, if he liked it at $24? He missed the whole upside move that followed and when Checkfree hit $50 he predicted it would reach his target of $22. Now he has raised his target to $40.

He could be right this time. Even a stopped clock is right once a day.
