<The severity of this decline is awesome. > The pullback strikes me as orderly. Granted we've had healthy volume, but nobody seems that surprised or nervous by what's happening right now. Perhaps that will change as we experience the lows in a couple months. But I don't expect this decline to be as severe as the '99 correction. Why? Because I don't see three rate increases in the offing this time around. Disclaimer: Holding 50% and happy to avoid taxes on those gains in 4/2001.
