There are several reasons why CTXS will recover quickly:
1.Many people decided to hold off selling until 2000 to postpone taxes.
2.The big price drop on modest volume has always lead to a swift rebound before. With real bad news (remember 3 years ago--the volumes were 3-4 times theses volumes.
3. The "correction" will be finished real quick. These days corrections occur real fast since info is so fast and responses are so fast. Because of the speed to the responses there will tend to be overshoots (in both directions) and so there will be an oversold situation and there will not be any more sellers. The MMs know this type of thing.
4. Part of the drop was due to the announcement yesterday by Corel that it will have a system in place to run Windows on UNIX terminals remotely using Graphon (I believe it is--correct me on this). Corel is a company on its last legs in my opinion with a suite of also ran products. It took a bunch of World-class products (best word processor, spreadsheet, database, graphics] let them slide as products compared to MSFT--took a foray into porting them to JAVA (do you see the pattern)and was on its last legs until it discovered religion in LINUX. Do I have faith in Corel? The record speaks for itself.
