Hi Rich,

D-DWM - Dense Wave Division Multiplexing. It is essentially sending information on multiple wavelengths (colors) of light over fiber optic cable. To keep the speed benefit, the focus has been to find ways to route the information all optically as opposed to transmitting the information point to point and then converting it to slower electrical signals for the routing and then converting it back to an optical signal.

Indications are that NT will have a strong Q, so unless other companies start reporting problems similar to LU on the demand side, the action should remain to the upside.
I saw some posts about LU statements on CNBC indicating that the problem is limited to LU. The market appears to be focus ing on a shift of market share and execution problems as opposed to any demand problems for now. Waiting for greater visability in light of the overall market conditions might be prudent.
