Is anyone on this thread in contact with the facts concerning SFA's near-term performance? My estimation of SFA has been up, up and up lately but the stock has been down. I would like to review some concerns that have popped up in recent weeks: 1. Have any developments occurred with transmission systems sales? I am aware of none other than a much anticipated flood of capital spending by the cable cos. 2. Explorer sales- have they slowed to the point that earnings could come short? Has GIC made inroads? Are the sonys and pioneers starting to eat away at the settop market? 3. Am I mistaken to believe that SFA has a lead on practically everyone but GIC with the explorer 2000? In short, how could one not expect surprises to come out on the upside when earnings are released?
