Some info found on the Net... thanks to current AVQ holders doing homework...
Only a question of time, business od great!
- Home Depot orders continue to be strong with one store (only one though) putting in a recent order for "150 units".
- The Minnesota Home Depot chain has become very interested in carrying the humidifier and something could be written up in late Jan.
- AVQ will be going down to Denver in Jan. to speak with 160 Home Depot employees on how to sell the humidifier.
- We feels that the Shell Busy show which has yet to air in many places will be a nice bonus, as Shell really "sells' the humidifier on the show. Apparently Shell has had one working in his house for a few years now and thinks it's great.
- One major shareholder (400,000) shares is a member of the Canadian Tire chain, although not sure in what capacity (very interesting).
- Avante will probably be changing banks in order to find a financial institution who would be interested in providing a credit line for further expansion should the need arise.
-As for TimberMart, AVQ is shipping them a unit for testing along with all the required product info shortly. Not factoring in anything from here yet, since this isn't a done deal, and if it goes through, would likely be a couple months or more away (Home Depot, from initial contact to signing of the agreement, took six months, we'd expect TimberMart, if all goes well, to happen faster than that). TimberMart has a total of 615 stores across Canada, right now it could be early to make an estimate on volume potential, until we know how many of those stores an initial agreement might cover. |
