Wait a minute. Umang was ousted in 97 if I'm correct, but not much has changed from when Gupta was started in 85. Client Server / and SQLBase tools have been it's bread and butter since then. Current management or previous management under Inman have never done anything. Even to this day.

The infospinner acquisition bit the dust, and since then the only new stuff is the raima acquistion. I cannot understand why Raima sold out to CNTR. With SQLBase, I still don't see how much of a fit is Raima.

Gupta was the pioneer in the windows based client server tools, and it was his vision that built CNTR. CNTR had the potential to be the big daddy of C/S computing, but Gupta's arrogance, a non-existent PR and Marketing, a frustrating tech support all led to their demise. And Gupta himself was given the boot.

Even under scott nothing much has changed. Everything that was done or is being done will be realised in about 6 months or so. Still the marketing and PR is non-existent. About their tech support I don't know because I don't use it anymore. What scott has done is to make it financially viable and given investors the potential for a big payoff, IF it all works out. We aren't out of the woods yet and there has not been an upturn in revenues, profits, .... as yet.
