Good post Wayne. This is what I think might be happening.

End of the year we had across the board momentum in techstocks with a lot of euphoria especially about Ancor's prospects in Jan. Investors expected big things in January, that lead investors in Ancor to maybe go onto margin or buy more stock in anticipation of a jump. Market Makers and shorts realized that people had stretched themselves, and with the surprise downturn/ambush in the New Year, they used it to push hard to drive the price down. At first the people that bought extra shares held on thinking it would only drop alittle bit, but mm know that when people overload themselves with shares, they have a lower comfort zone the farther the price gets pushed down, causing them to fold and cash in their extra shares. As the price drops people panic and more people sell. This will pass once they have flushed out all of the shares they can get/steal. Then when good news comes out they will drive the price back up.

My best guess. When FC companies keep announcing sequential growth in revenues it will shoot up like someone snapping a rubber band.
