Cape Breton for one reason or another had had their share of business gone bad. This deal (unlike the others that get unfavourable press) has the makings of an excellent feather in the cap for the Conservatives under Dr. Hamm. As mentioned countless times before, they were bent on closing Sysco down come hell or high water during the last election and I'm convinced that the consultant managed to convince them that the Shubie Sands would make heroes out of them once the next election rolls around.
