If they were counting on optical to bail them out then why didn't they have the components? More pointedly. OC192 are long lead sales.. they knew earlier in the quarter that optical wasn't going to "bail them out". I suspect one of two things happened. 1. they weren't able to interest enought customers is their PBX financing programs 2. They weren't able to realize revenue from shipped products due to customer acceptance problems Either way LU blew it BIG time. No doubt... and yes, I do think they're candy coating this pup. but then.. what do I know... OG
