Your're right. Margin policies do vary from one broker to another. I just had trouble with the following statement made by Peter Mills.

"Hi Mahar, possible reason for drop is because the NASDAQ price is below $6 US. At $5, the stock is no longer marginable. Investors will be forced to sell at $5 and price will go down. So being smart investors, the selling begins somewhere between 5 and 6 dollars."
