My broker is National Discount Brokers in New York. Their new web address is: ndb.com Their old address, which is still being used until everyone is used to the new one is: pawws.com Their phone number is 1-800 888-3999 They charge $20 for an online trade and $25 for a telephone trade. You can buy any amount of shares with NO extra charge. Their new website is slow, but I assume they'll get the kinks out. You might find less expensive brokers who even do a better job. But one thing is for sure, you sure do not need a "full-service" broker. All they do is over-charge everyone. Changing brokers is easy, by the way. Fill out the forms and the new broker will automatically transfer your account. But there will be a two or three week period for the transfer to take effect, so you won't be able to do any trading for that time. Definitely the way to go. Anyone paying $250 for what they can get for 1/10th that amount is either very, very rich....or very, very (I'll let you finish the sentence). Hope this answers your question.
